Scoop Lounge Chair

A single piece of bent ply with a black upholstered (fixed) cushion and doweled legs. I love the simplicity of this design.

There is an interesting discussion about this chair posted on Mid Century Modernist. Check it out here. The only reliable information that I could gather was that this chair was produced in the late 50's by Carter Brothers, in the US. This chair is in excellent condition. More photos after the jump.
